Class Description: Learn botanical dyeing with Ginger Paschall of Plants are Magic! Discover the craft of natural dyeing with flowers and plants. During this 2.5-hour workshop, participants will learn the basics of natural dyeing, fiber preparation, easy to grow dye plants, and the bundle dyeing process. Each student will create a unique one-of-a-kind silk 22”x22” scarf using locally grown plants.
You will come away from this workshop with:
- An understanding of the basics of natural dyeing
- An overview of natural dye plants
- Knowledge of how to bundle dye fabric
- A summary of information covered in class
- A one-of-a-kind silk scarf made by you! Scarf and all supplies are included in the workshop cost.
