Mint FamilyGeorgia Calamint is a small, evergreen shrub in the mint family that produces abundant pink, tubular flowers from late summer into fall. The blooms are highly attractive to pollinators and provide a late-season nectar source when many other plants have finished flowering. This species is exceptionally drought tolerant and thrives in full sun and dry, well-drained soils. It is particularly well adapted to poor, rocky conditions and may struggle in heavy or consistently wet soils. Its evergreen foliage is strongly aromatic, making it an excellent choice for pathways, borders, or other areas where the leaves can be brushed to release their fragrance. This species also works well in containers and rock gardens. Pair with Little Bluestem Grass, Snow Flurry Heath Aster, Purple Poppy Mallow, or Heart-leaf Skullcap.
