    Atamasco Lily (Zephyranthes atamasco)
    Amaryllis Family
    A spring-blooming bulb, Atamasco Lily is native to the southeastern U.S., and is often found in moist meadows and woodland edges. It produces large, star-shaped white to pale pink flowers with a delicate fragrance, rising on slender stems above narrow, grass-like foliage. Growing 12-18 inches tall, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soils but tolerates periods of drought once established. It will go dormant by early summer, so plan accordingly with companion plants like Cinnamon Fern, Foamflower, Barbara's Buttons, or Rose Milkweed
