This Rudbeckia is best suited to 6+ hours of sun and average to moist soils, though it is adaptable to a range of conditions once established. It typically grows 2–3 feet tall and 2–3 feet wide. Unlike the straight species, which can be more variable and loosely spreading, ‘Goldsturm’ has a more compact, uniform habit and tends to form dense, tidy clumps through short rhizomes.
