Dwarf Spiraea is a rare, very short deciduous shrub found in just a few locations in the south/northeast. It can grow up to 3’ but usually is 1-1.5’ tall. Creamy-white flower clusters appear in early summer followed by brown seed capsules. In the wild it can be found in rocky woodlands and other drier areas.It thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soils.
